On behalf of the staff, governors and children I would like to extend a warm welcome to Edlesborough School. We are committed to developing pupils who are inquisitive, inclusive and inspired by their learning journey through our village school setting.
Our vision for all of our pupils embodies our three values (inquisitive, inclusive, inspired), as we strive to involve the school community in ensuring that all of our pupils leave Edlesborough School as individuals who can make a positive difference to the world.
The Edlesborough School community aspires to shape open-minded, respectful and passionate individuals.
As an outward looking school which strives for continuous improvement, this year's exciting projects are:
- working with the School Linking Network where we have been partnered with Broughton Junior School to undertake a year-long project, where our pupils will learn to work in collaboration with other children, forging new friendships with children from differing backgrounds to their own.
- relocating our school library to its own dedicated space, to embed our reading for pleasure scheme across the school, for all our pupils.
- continuing to improve our outdoor curriculum provision, expanding the children's use of Forest School and the cross-curricular, hands-on learning this exposes them to
We are all immensely proud of our school; the passionate team who works here and the thematic curriculum which is designed by and for our pupils. We are very much at the heart of the village of Edlesborough, which our school community is proud to be a part of.
We hope that our school website will give you a glimpse of our values, curriculum, events and community. If you would like to find out more, or come and see us for yourself, please contact Mrs Jo Broughton (Office Manager) on 01525 220431 or email@example.com.
