To celebrate Safer Internet Day, which this year was held on the 6th February, all classes took an aspect of online safety and produced a variety of outstanding work. We had playscripts, videos, superheroes, board games, comic strips and leaflets. These were then on display at our cyber cafe where parents were invited in to see what their children had been learning. A number of resources were also available for parents on the school laptops. I hope you agree that you children produced some amazing work and I hope that it started a conversation with your child about their online activities.
Well done to the winners of our Christmas crib competition. Their entries now take pride of place in the manger which can be seen in the school office.
Winter has arrived at Edlesborough School. Each class has taken a winter themed book and created a display based around it. Work includes poetry, inference, instruction writing and a broad collection of art work. We hope you agree that they look beautiful.
A huge thank you to all the parents, carers and pupils who made such a huge effort on Friday. It was fantastic to see so many people joining in to raise money for charity. We were overwhelmed by the amount of entries into the 'Great Edlesborough School Bake Off'. It was definitely hard for Mrs Peel to pick winners!
Here are a few pictures from the day:
Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity for children to express themselves and appreciate individuality and uniqueness!
Take a look at our socks!
On Wednesday 28th June we had a representative from Bletchley Park delivering cyber workshops across KS2. The children completed activities in code breaking, morse code, internet safety and cyber security. KS1 also enjoyed an internet safety assembly.
What a fantastic week!
Here are just a sample of the photos taken during the week. There are lots more on the 'Sporting Achievements' page under the PE Curriculum tab.
