REPORT
FROM JUNIOR ROAD SAFETY
OFFICER CONFERENCE
In October Rona and
I went to Aylesbury for a conference with many other JRSO’s
from different schools. I enjoyed the conference as we got involved
in many activities, my favourite was pretending to be in a car
crash, which taught me how important it is to drive carefully and
also to keep your seatbelt on whilst the car is moving. Another
activity was about learning what other things you could introduce
to the school and we did one, to get a JRSO notice board, we also
have one in the main entrance. Stephen Tomlinson
My favourite part of the conference was making the poster for
the notice board, as there was a wide range of pictures and they
let your imagination flow. It was really fun and I learnt
loads of new things, such as how to speak properly in assembly. We
learnt how the fireman saves people if they have whiplash in a
car crash. It was so good, and I wish everyone could have
been there. We both thought it was fun and exciting. It was
a good experience and proved how important our role of Junior Road
Safety Officer (JRSO) is. Rona Wright
